Holiday offers from Port Huron, Lapeer and Thumb region businesses, listed as merchants in the Thumb post them.

Blue Water Bridge country and Nepessing Street

Port Huron sits where Lake Huron empties into the St. Clair River, at the easternmost point of land in Michigan. The twin-span Blue Water Bridge links it to Point Edward, Ontario, and the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, first built in 1825, guards the river mouth. The Thomas Edison Depot Museum fills the 1858 rail depot where Edison worked as a boy.

Lapeer, the Lapeer County seat on the Flint River, centers on a Greek Revival courthouse built in 1845 and 1846. Downtown Nepessing Street is the hub of arts and cultural life in the city, with the Art Deco PIX Theatre as its anchor. The Lapeer Days Festival takes over the street each August.
